What enables human thinking? Our brain is equipped with an internal map, its own SatNav. Prof. Dr. Christian Doeller and his team at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences believe that the brain stores its experiences in so-called ‘cognitive spaces’ within this navigation system.
